This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Fasting Timer (the "App"), provided by Sergey Eskin ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. Your fasting sessions, protocols, streaks, and history are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. We cannot see this data, and it is not uploaded to us or to any server.
The App works fully offline. We do not use third-party advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information.
Simple Fasting Timer offers an optional one-time "Pro" purchase. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment card details.
To unlock and restore your purchase across devices, and to prevent fraud, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our purchase-management provider. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat and Apple process limited purchase-related information, which may include a randomized purchase identifier, your App Store transaction details, product identifiers, and general device and country information. This information is used only to deliver and validate your purchase. It is not linked to your identity by us, and it is not used for advertising.
If you allow notifications, the App schedules a local notification to let you know when your fasting goal is reached. These notifications are generated on your device. We do not run a push-notification server and do not collect any data through notifications.
Any fasting-related information you enter stays on your device. The App does not read from or write to Apple Health, and we do not access, transmit, or store your health information.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your fasting data lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can delete individual sessions in the App, and deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since we do not hold your personal fasting data, most requests can be resolved directly on your device. For anything relating to purchase records, contact us and we will help you exercise your rights or direct you to the appropriate provider.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected in the App or on this page.
